Last year, to celebrate the 30th birthday she almost didn’t have, Amy took a hiatus from her personal training business in L.A. to tour across North America giving donation-based fitness bootcamps in 30 cities to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention and depression.

Amy’s 30×30 Project successfully raised over $18,000 for the charity, To Write Love On Her Arms.
After meeting Amy when we brought her to Milwaukee (my then-hometown), she inspired me to have my own shut up moment. That’s when I came out in the open about suffering from depression after my ex cut my son out of my life completely. And instead of drowning in my own sorrows or using my vices to soothe me, I gave birth to my own movement–proving to myself and other there is hope.
It started with The Shut Up Show and, as of yesterday, it has now evolved into my first published book called The Year of the Brave Bear.
On Friday, August 1st, 2014, we’re bringing Amy back on The Shut Up Show to give you an exclusive, up close and personal LIVE interview as she stops back in Milwaukee, Wisconsin along the national Strong Inside Out Tour.
If you’re not in Milwaukee, no sweat! You can join another location along the tour. Or you can join the cause virtually–making hope through fitness happen–right from the comfort of your own living room.
